Our Review

The hotel is housed in a traditional building of monumental neoclassical architecture. The hotel itself has a distinguished history dating back to 1918. The bedrooms are large and tastefully decorated with modern and classic furnishings. The en-suite bathrooms are completely marbled and fitted with bath tub and shower. The hotel has been totally renovated and looks very impressive both inside and out.

The hotel is located on the elegant Paseo de Gracia, one of the city's most lovely thoroughfares, where you will find some of the most famous representatives of Catalan modernist architecture, such as the Casa Battló and the incomparable Pedrera, both by Antonio Gaudí. It is close to all shopping areas and is just minutes from the Plaza Cataluna where the famous store 'El Corte Ingles' is situated.

     hotel generally is close sightseeing areas...             very close metro station...             Excellent location, walk to shops/bars...             just far enough to be quiet...             Location was excellent....             Plenty of shops and cafes in surrounding area....
