Our Review

The hotel is housed in a modern building which has recently been renovated. The hotel has a total of 211 rooms all decorated in a modern minimalist style and fully equipped for today's traveller. Most of the rooms are doubles with one queen bed. Guests will also benefit the hotel amenities, including a gym and outdoor pool.

The hotel is located in the city centre of Barcelona. From the hotel it would only be a short walk (less than 10 minutes) to the Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya and the celebrated Gothic quarter. The Diplomatic is just 2 minutes' walk from the famous Passeig De Gracia, an extensive tree lined avenue hosting some of the hottest designer shops as well as Gaudi's most famous works. There are plenty of good restaurants and tapas bars within the local vicinity. The two nearest metro stations are Paseo de Gracia and Girona. The hotel is about 25 minutes by taxi from Barcelona International Airport (12 kilometres away.)
