The H10 Montcada is well situated in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. Las Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya and Port Vell's many outdoor restaurants are all within 7 minutes' walk, with the famous Cathedral just across the road. The hotel is on a busy street called Via Laitana, which runs parallel to Las Ramblas, and the majority of the Gothic Quarter is sandwiched between these two roads. The street is home to shops, hotels and some quite striking municipal buildings. The metro station Jaume 1 is across the road and the main airport is 20 to 25 minutes away by taxi (13 kms).
