The America hotel is housed in a modern building recently constructed (2001). As you would image the hotel interior also has a modern design. The hotel lobby is an example with its bright white marble, colourful mosaic pillars and interesting painted tiles. The hotel has a total of 59 rooms with wooden floors, decorated in cream and bold colours with contemporary design flair. All rooms have modern facilities and up to date services. About half of the hotels rooms are twin rooms (two beds). In the Summer (April-October) the hotel opens its rooftop swimming pool. Guests can enjoy the views over Barcelona while taking advantage of the telephone bar and snack service from the pool side. The hotels lobby bar is a popular spot for winding down in a fashionable modern design environment.
