Our Review

Arguably one of the best hotels in Barcelona, the 1898 often outperforms five star hotels. In the few years it has been open, it has managed to build an excellent reputation. Its location on the Ramblas is ideal, and there is good range of facilities (rooftop pool and spa). The hotel facilities are so opulent some guests may never want to leave the hotel!

Brand new, open in November 2005, the hotel exudes modern sophistication. Guests may enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools, the modern gym and the relaxing spa, business guests may also take advantage of the business centre, libraries and meeting facilities on offer.
Bedrooms in the hotel are funky and modern. This is arguably one of the best hotels in Barcelona, in the few years it has been open they have managed to build an excellent reputation. Richly decorated in bold colours with striped fabrics and have plenty of space. All amenities are as you would expect from a hotel of this superior standard including personal safe, mini bar, hi-fi system and satellite TV.
There is a restaurant and bar on site.
