This hotel has a great location, being just 10 minutes' walk from Las Ramblas and in close proximity to numerous shops and restaurants. Guestrooms are simple and decorated in a contemporary style. The Catalonia Princesa is a good base for those who want clean and simple accommodation with a good location.

The Catalonia Born is housed in a 4-storey sandstone terraced building situated in Barcelona's Gothic quarter. The medium sized marble lobby is bright and welcoming, with lots of natural light. Also medium sized, the 90 guestrooms have contemporary decor with striped fabrics and dark wood furniture. They are clean and well maintained, as are the marble en suite bathrooms. The Restaurant serves a selection of Spanish and Mediterranean dishes in an airy, light-toned dining room and has a small patio for outdoor dining. And at the Café Bar guests can enjoy a cappuccino, snack, or a pre-dinner drink in an informal setting.

     A very clean hotel...             Second time I've used this hotel and both times have found it comfortable and quiet...             All good ...             breakfast was unusually generous and varied...             price being pretty reasonable too...             I'd recommend this hotel to anyone that doesn't want to be in the thick of it all the time...
