The newest property of the Catalonia Hotel chain opened its doors to guests on August 2006 and occupies a renovated modernist building of the year 1903. The Hotel is situated in the historic centre of Barcelona, so it allows to its guests to access all sights of interest within a few minutes' walk. The Hotel, although it features a traditional modernist facade is contemporary in style and all of its 221 rooms are stylish, modern, and spacious. Except from the standard facilities that you would expect from a 4 star hotel in the city centre, the Catalonia Ramblas also features an outdoor swimming pool, a garden area, a gymnasium as well as spa facilities. In general it is an excellent 4 star hotel in the heart of the city.
