breakfast - unless you managed to get eggs freshly brought from the kitchen then they were hard. Bacon needed cooking more. Toast machine not working properly one day as had to put bread through 6 times!! The first day there was no shower gel, good job we had our own.
Top Tip
Ask for prices before eating on La Rambla as some of them really over charge.

As we were doing a pre cruise stay in this hotel it was ideal location for the cruise terminal
Top Tip
I think if I was there for a few days I would prefer a hotel nearer the centre, however if you are going on a cruise, as we did, then it is an ideal location

very nice hotel, enjoyed my stay here, the view from our window was just the side of another hotel. it was supposed to be an American breakfast but not an omelet or pancake in site otherwise it was ok.
Top Tip
use the metro station right outside the door to get around the city, its the cheapest and easiest way to get around.

The hotel location was fantastic with las ramblas only a short walk away and the metro right outside. The hotel staff were welcoming even though we turned up at 1am after a delayed flight. The room was clean and tidy and the fridge had been filled with water and various cans of juice and beer. The rooms were cleaned and beds changed daily as well as the bathrooms which were pleasant to use. I would recommend the hotel to everyone, it really did make the experience some what magical.
Top Tip
I would recommend the bus tour, it gives you the opportunity to see a lot more but it really is busy at weekend so if you are there on a weekday it's best to do it then! I would highly recommend the sagrada familia, it is breathtaking. Also for places to eat and snack then the gothic area has lots of cafes and small restaurants. The hard rock cafe is also a must visit.

Would like to see tea making facilities in all rooms. The hotel wanted to charge us E29 per night to upgrade to room with these facilities. We have always had a full tea tray in all the previous 4 star hotels you have booked for us.
