Traveller from Consett stayed in June,2007

I would recommend this hotel to other travellers, but only if when you book, you ensure you reserve a room facing Las Ramblas, and with a window. The first room we had, was at the back of the hotel and had no window. Also, the only electricity point did not work. The receptionist was helpful when I asked if we could change to a better room, however, one was not available until the next day. The rooms and beds were clean and simply furnished. Quite adequate. The reception and lounge are smart. The location is excellent.

Top Tip:
I recommend The Attic restaurant on the Ramblas. The restaurant is smart. the meals are tasty and not overpriced. Beware of the Tapas bar next door to the hotel `Mickeys`. The owner offers you a free tapas dish to come in and then overcharges you on another.
